Many #ProcurementLeaders are preparing for 2021, not sure what lies ahead. Many are still recovering from the challenges presented to us in 2020.
I wanted to share this article that raises a number of good points, in particular a few resonated with me:
- Organisations will be trying to do more with less, which really puts a focus on #capability and having the right #talent to deliver
- Investment in #systemenablement, having the right data will allow you to have the transparency to manage your business and having the necessary visibility to manage critical stock and manage any potential supply chain disruption
- Rethinking your #procurementstrategy to ensure #contingency, partnerships with key suppliers, strengthening your local supply base as well as looking at new ways to drive value for your organisation
The year 2021 will be a challenging year for sure, being agile and having a clear plan to respond to the challenges ahead will be key to your success.
